Dr Buzaglo completed her undergraduate medical studies in 2004 and her residency in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2011, both at McGill University. She then continued her doctoral studies in Gynaecological Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (EGRI) at the University of Montreal, which she completed in 2013. Throughout her studies, Dr. Buzaglo completed internships in fertility, among others at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, at the Hôtel Dieu in Paris and at the Innovation Institute for Fertility Preservation and IVF (IFP) where she had the opportunity to work with Dr Kutluk Oktay, a doctor renowned worldwide for his work in fertility preservation. Dr. Buzaglo has also been involved with non-profit organizations including Avenir Fertile and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (SCFA), the latter as Chair of the Fertility Preservation Interest Group.

“Family is very important to me, which is why I was captivated by the field of infertility since my first year in med school. Technological breakthroughs as well as the human aspects associated with this field have also solidified my desire to assist infertile couples and women who wish to preserve their fertility. “

Following her long years of study and to the benefit of infertile couples, Dr. Buzaglo applied her knowledge in clinical settings from 2013 until April of this year, when she decided to join our family.

“I had already met Dr. Miron twice and we had great conversations about a future professional collaboration, but since I lived far from the Laval clinic, I was reluctant to take the step. This year, I finally succumbed to this great opportunity since I fully shared the human and ethical values of Fertilys. Simply put : I had to join the team.”

“It is a real pleasure to work within a competent and joyful team. It is motivating to work in such a structured and organized work environment, especially in terms of the medical approach. When all doctors follow the same protocols, our patients have less confusion and their trust in our team grows. The results of the treatments are really encouraging for couples and it’s not mere coincidence.”

“Together, we will support and encourage our patients so they can achieve their goal. Stay hopeful: you are in good hands. “
